About Commercial Waste London
A focused commercial waste service for London businesses
Commercial Waste London is the commercial-waste side of Capital Recycle Ltd, put on its own website. It covers one thing: regular and one-off waste collection for businesses in London and the WD postcodes, and the guidance a business needs to do that properly.
The main Capital Recycle site does more than that. Pallets, construction loads, office clearances, domestic bulky items. For someone who runs a café in Clerkenwell and wants their bins sorted, most of that is noise. This site is the version without the noise.
Who operates this website and service?
Commercial Waste London by Capital Recycle Ltd
Every quote, collection, invoice and waste transfer note that comes through this site is issued by Capital Recycle Ltd. Commercial Waste London is a trading style, not a separate company. There’s no broker in the middle and no subcontractor turning up in a different van. The people who answer 0207 101 4003 are the people who run the round.
The legal entity behind quotes and collections
Capital Recycle Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 14062640, VAT registration 460344904. It holds an upper-tier waste carrier registration with the Environment Agency, licence number CBDU466346. The registered details are below, with links to where you can check each one yourself.
What Commercial Waste London covers
Commercial waste collection and recycling
General waste, dry mixed recycling and glass, in bags or wheelie bins, collected on a fixed schedule. One-off wait-and-load collections for clear-outs and projects, priced by the load. Every collection comes with a waste transfer note. Every recurring account gets an annual note that covers the year.
We collect from offices, shops, cafés, restaurants, bars, salons, workshops, small industrial units and sites under refurbishment. The service area is London and the WD postcodes.
Guidance, paperwork and London operating information
The guides on this site answer the questions that come up on the phone every week: what counts as commercial waste, whether a contract is legally required, what a transfer note has to contain, when bins can go out in each borough, and what the move to digital waste tracking changes. Each guide is written against the GOV.UK source and carries the date we last checked it.
How we approach service and compliance
Clear information before collection
You get a recommendation based on the premises you describe, not on a product list. If bags suit a shop better than a bin, that’s what we’ll say. The price is worked out for the job in front of us and confirmed before anything is collected. There is no web calculator on this site because a calculator can’t see your bin store.
Documented waste transfers
A waste transfer note is issued for every collection and kept on file. For recurring accounts one annual note covers all collections in the period, which is what the duty of care code allows and what an inspector will ask for. If you ever need a copy, it’s a phone call.
